Just because it is possible to charge something for a product doesn’t mean it’s ethical to do so. The price of football in England is bad enough, but enough tickets are sold to make it worthwhile to clubs. It doesn’t make it right. As hbic pointed out, charging local fans that much is ridiculous when you consider the wages locals get paid out there. It’s not even a competitive game FFS. If the stadium is full then it’s a damning inditement of the culture around the game, fostered by clubs who commoditise the fans and fan culture that glorifies paying that much just to get a glimpse from afar of a Ronaldo or Salah, or any other star. Frankly I don’t care that it’s Liverpool and United involved here, it would be equally as ridiculous if it was Madrid and Barca.
It is ridiculous i fully agree (pure money grabbing in truth) but the fact is only the people who can afford it will pay, most of which will not be supporters but those looking for a story to tell their circle of friends "i was at that game".
I'm guessing this is in some way related to Thai stuntmen aren't stuntmen, they're people who get thrown off third story balconies onto concrete Got to pay them a little more than the going rate for that...
You can't really see it from this, but Ben Foster totally switches off in the buildup. Goes for a little walk, turns away from play completely, then finds himself slightly out of position. Twat.
not sure he is really in a poor position here. However, he does totally misjudge the power, the swirl and jota running across and thus getting it first. A mistake but not something i would call a massive howler.
