They are at this match week effectively where they were in the two previous seasons (pts, gap to the drop zone) . So I guess it will come down to the fixture list (how many "six pointers" against fellow strugglers or those fighting at the top end of the table) .
Sheffield Utd have been awful but Iheanacho has been terrific. So rarely in his career has he been first choice long enought to really build his form but he's doing that now. Well done him.
And that's 5. Up to 3-0 you'd say Leicester should have finished better, Sheffield Utd should feel fortunate this is unlikely to finish in the double digits.
Leicester were never going to drop points today. Sheff Utd are down and they know it. Their next 2 fixtures (City and West Ham) could be much more useful for us.
Oh I know, I've enjoyed watching Leicester take them apart tbh. I don't have any particular feelings for or against them, I just think they've been awful today. Wigan were better than this when we put 9 past them.
The Lesta run-in is horrendous. However some of those opponents may still have UEFA competition burdens when those games are played (which Lesta do not) .
Karanka's been sacked by Birmingham. 8th manager to get the boot in 5 years. Maybe the problem isn't the bloke in that role?
Recycling this comment... Moyes is still **** at Old Trafford, then. Great weekend for Liverpool. When was the last time a winning manager didn't make a single substitution in the Premier League? Very strange, but it worked.
I think it was probably because he had his head in his hands for most of the game and was pretending to be somewhere else. Utd are useless at OT. Teams sit back and Utd play walking football in front of them. So tedious
