Motivation-wise beforehand for the boys this match week :

- Chelsky (PL 4th) are now 6 pts ahead having played two games more

- At least one of Man Utd or the Spanners are dropping pts

- A Spurs win should ensure the Goons do not finish above
come season end (and whatever UEFA grief that could cause
a la 2012) .

Add to the above :

- Everton losing
- Lesta possibly being thwarted by a Sheff Utd new manager "bounce"

Proper "cup final" mentality needed by the boys today.

Can I request that nothing happens in the first 10 minutes because I’ll be watching Ireland v Scotland rugby match before switching over.

Thank you.

I've just been checking my daughters spelling test. She spelled 'Battle' wrong, she spelt it 'Bale'. Is it some kind of Omen?

They've got a stronger bench than us , so come 60 th minute when they start making changes, we'll concede 2.

We need to be up before this if we want anything from the game.

Lacazette regularly scores against us, Aubamayang to come off the bench, they haven't beat us in the last 5 NLDs, we have only won twice at their place in 28 years and we can close the gap on Chelsea and on either West Ham or United and push the goons to 10 points behind us...

So a gooner win is a definite <wah>

It's been a **** weekend. Plumber to fix boiler arrived 14:00 yesterday, fixed it, put it back together, found another leak, took it apart again, fixed it, didn't leave until 18:00 when the gas people turned up to dig up my drive because the plumber had found a gas leak. 21:00 before hot water, none since Wednesday so late shower. Also my drive is one parking space short, + chapter 8 barriers until their reinstatement team return to sort out the block paving.

So don't expect too much from this match, the cat has already gone into hiding.

Apparently Aubameyang was left on the bench for 'disciplinary reasons'. :emoticon-0126-nerd:

I didn't realise having a ****e haircut warranted an inquiry, but there you have it.

Agreed. If we're after defending a lead, we have options. But if we're chasing a goal, only Lamela stands out as a go-to option. Aurier could come on to stretch the game a bit but...

In an alternate reality, Lo Celso is on that bench, waiting to make his long anticipated return from injury.

To be fair, nobody was winning at their place 28 years ago...
