Have you read the Twitter comments? "Is this the Chelsea which couldn't score against QPR and Swansea? What a treansformation." "This is Chelsea's statement of intent." TWO OWN GOALS AND A PENALTY FOR FFS,STOKE GAVE IT TO THEM THEY DIDN'T EARN IT.
Reading take the lead against West Brom. Shock comeback. Stoke win a penalty. Terry gives it away. Walters takes it and misses. Hope he enjoys spending his roubles. Tosser.
Stoke were the better side before they conceded, apparently. Great comeback from Reading, I just hope they can cling on to the win for once.
If it was in Italy we'd definitely be calling it match fixing. I'd just put him in my fantasy league team too, he must be on about -10 for me so far, just needs to get sent off.
Martin Keown, BBC Final Score "I'm not sure why Jon Walters was allowed to take the penalty because he was never going to score - he's had a nightmare day." He's scored more goals than anyone else on the pitch, Martin
No abusive or insulting posts on here, please. Dear Mr Walters, this is how to do it: Figueroa saves Wigan a point.
That was brilliant. There's a few clubs after him in this window aren't there? I don't know why Martinez gets so much credit sometimes, he gets a talented side into a relegation scrap every year.
He's out of contract at the end of the season, as he was in the summer. I suggested him as back-up to Assou-Ekotto, allowing us to loan out Rose and still have suitable cover plus an emergency centre-back, but we'd rather have an out of position right-back.
Walters certainly was. Worst individual performance in Premier League history? He's been remarkably consistent and hard working for quite some time now, too. Lots of consecutive league appearances. 80-odd, I think.
don't get me wrong his mistakes cost them dearly, but to say it was the worst performance in PL history? nah. Pen was hardly crucial too at 4-0 down.
You can all say they gave it to us but to win 4-0 at Stoke is some achievement and obviously a side must play well to do this! I was at the game and in the second half we dominated! Oh and Hazard's goal... what a stunner!
Very skilful win IMO. We were a bit unlucky conceding that late penalty but it was missed anyway. Hard fought emphatic win, so glad we've turned a corner
