Certainly a tough one YV, and we've had many slo mo views, but one thing we do definietly agree on, it wasn't simulation...shocking decision, but couldn't have happened to a nicer team! :)

I'd be happier if it hadn't happened 3 times to Bale this season. It's worrying that the FA don't seem to be encouraging refs to show caution on decisions where they don't know what contact there was. I still think the idea that they can punish players for going down in what the ref deems an unnatural way is simply stupid.

The idea isn't stupid, it's the interpretation that is. Young should have been booked for his "unnatural" way of falling over, not given bloody penalties.

Young should have been booked for faking contact and doing the starfish dive to gain contact. This new guidance from the FA has only muddied the waters and made it harder for refs to be consistent and easier for refs to wrongly book players.

I meant Chelsea had the most yellows for simulation in 2012, and this latest one is a good start to take the award again! :D

The Ba card was a "Play on" to me, pretty clearly. You'd have had to go over frame-by-frame footage for a while to hope to dissect the right call. Given you don't have that, don't do anything and you've done all you can.

What the ****?

Arsenal's 2013 diary:

The diary was sorted out prior to the summer transfer window and they're still selling it for £5. Shows what they think of their fans, really.

Walters also scores Chelsea's 2nd. <doh>
And Fat Frank kills it off with an apparently soft penalty, though I haven't seen it.

I'll say it again, what the ****?

Only one angle, but that looks...

Reading come from 2-0 down to equalise against a coasting West Brom. Didn't see that coming. Still time left to balls it up, though.
