I did not suggest that the bad defending was caused by Harry going off, but you have actually agreed with me by default then, we didn't score because Harry went off! Which was your original implication was it not!

No I don't seriously suggest we sell Sonny, he has had an excellent season and we need more depth in our squad not less.

But in my opinion he is not more effective than Harry, they are entirely different sorts of players, and we should be able to get the best out of both of them, and generally we have, they play well together and we have shown we can play well with one or other of them in the side without the other.

Having watched that thrilling win on Wednesday night and then read about Harrys input in the dressing room at half time, it could be suggested that Harry was a bigger influence on that win than Sonny was, because probably only Wanyama was a less effective player on the pitch than Sonny in that match.

I'll give you some of that TCM.

Who did Liverpool beat on the way before Barca? Having beaten Dortmund, City and Ajax we have to fancy our chances don't we Brunel? Although it was the away goals rule which helped us rather than outright wins whereas Liverpool thrashed Barca, I hope that doesn't signify anything.

Funnily enough I would rather play against Liverpool in a final than the likes of Burnley or Brighton. You know that there is going to be some room to play rather than park the bus. Furthermore, the presence of VAR should also be a benefit as it will negate one of their greatest assets this season, gravity. In addition, their other main asset, Michael 'YNWA' O'liverpool is ineligible to referee the game.

There is no doubting that on their day, they can beat anybody, but then again, so can we. It should be a good game, if it goes to penalties, the two best shot stoppers in the Prem will be between the sticks. 0-0 after penalties anyone?

Given a definite choice of the league or the EL, it would be the league, as it's been such a long ****ing time. I'd much rather be playing Ajax than you. It will be a very, very tough game.

As quite a few have said, I honestly believe you play better football without Kane.

After Tuesday it could said the same of you without Salah & Firmino - so will you keep the same team for the final?

And i assume from this that you would prefer Kane was picked for the final if he is fully fit

No not really because I haven't stated that Spurs will win it outright have I? Also I alluded to the CL next season because we'll be in it via the top 4. I'm always very careful not to write jinx posts.

I like to think that I debate the point with everyone, it just seems to be you more often because you bring it up on every thread.

Within minutes of us winning on Wednesday you were reminding us that we won without Harry

    'D.G.C. said:
,Roo, Dier, Rocky, we did it without Kane. Your innuendo has been answered on the pitch where it matters, same to you Changing Man. But never mind, we are THERE regardless'

and that was literally seconds after the final whistle

That's because of the amount of insults we received when we first said it months ago TCM. There was a lot of innuendo building up to the matches from you all too.

Yes I accept that - but have you seen our form of late?

We have actually been playing badly since Christmas with or without Harry, but since his last injury we have won just 3 matches home to Huddersfield & Brighton, in neither of those were we exactly fluent, and then Wednesday night.when the result really could have gone either way.

We seem to be consistent in playing two halves, one good, one bad and either winning by one goal or losing by one goal. The chances are being created but not converted. I'm hoping that the win on Wednesday changes that.

I don't think I deal in innuendo DGC, just prefer to be up front and as often as I can I try to deal in factual statements and ocassionally inject a little humour

We don't agree on this that's clear, but no hard feelings - this is a forum and its all about differing opinions :emoticon-0150-hands I
