If the squad have any respect for themselves + club + supporters, they will play to death to get the CL SF + PL top 4 done by the bank holiday. After that, the physios would be tasked with getting as much of the current squad as possible match-fit for a CL final (that means Sissoko starting XI and Kane on the bench as a minimum) .

Yeah, this is the one major criticism I have of Emery and it is a frustrating one - although we were dumped out of the domestic cups quite early, and progressed to the latter stages of the Europa, he hasn't given enough youth players a chance, especially as our current first teamers consistently fail to deliver. The likes of Willock, Saka and Nketiah have shown their youthful energy, speed and dynamism. Combine those qualities with their 'no fear' mentality whenever they've got minutes, and we would 100% be better off playing some of our youth players more. Emery has a reputation for sticking with 'tried and trusted' players though, so I don't expect him to turn to them unless there is an emergency injury crisis or unless someone from up above orders him to do so. Needless to say though. What looked like a promising season for Arsenal to begin with is now petering out with a whimper. I didn't expect to get CL football in this transitional season, but it's annoying as fack to be in the top 4 by game 32 and then by game 36, we are effectively out of the running.
TBH it was bizarre to watch Bellarin come on at ht in the Monday night home match saying Spurs were back in Arsenals shadow...**** like that simply breeds complacency and pisses off the opposition.

2018/2019 now known as the year of decline for top keepers. Hugo, de Gea with multiple blunders this season, Buffon ****ing up in the CL, the footballing gods are ****ting on the men in between the sticks this season.
