Two weeks in a row we slip up and so do our rivals. Strange times. COYS, let's have a week of solid performances starting against Ajax, then Bournemouth. You rarely get lucky twice. Three times? No.
How the feck are we in our position in the league when we have lost so many matches ...the others must be ****e ...imagine if we had bought players eh
And played in our ancestral homeland too. Three quality signings next season and we'll probably be title contenders.
I **** you not, Sarri, when being questioned about a tackle during the game, has just said: “I think he should have had the orange card”.
Holy ****ing dogshit, my fantasy team racked up 87 points this weekend ...yes, I did have Salah as captain this week, why do you ask?
Tuesday approaching and a tired depleted squad. Our last few matches have been either a one goal win or a one goal defeat so if we can break that on Tuesday and get a two goal win at home we'll go on to make the final and beat Bournemouth to qualify for next season's CL...............IF. I think we have the players to do it on Tuesday, Moura, Nando, Eriksen(score against his old club hopefully), Dele etc. Stupid of Son to get himself booked wasn't it. But, we'll be up for this one and I'm hopeful. Good luck on Tuesday boys in lily-white.
Truth be told Sonny has looked out of sorts since the City Champions league game, so a week off may see him return for Bournemouth and trip to Amsterdam a little refreshed. Going to be a big test for Poch this week to get our tactics and our heads right for Ajax, and our recent record in semi-finals does not inspire confidence, but 2 wins this week is the minimum requirement. And if they are both 1-0 that will be fine with me.
Agreed. He gave everything against City and looks knackered. Would still prefer to have him as an option on the bench but the rest could do him the world of good in finishing the season strong. I've been thinking about the line up for Ajax more or less constantly since full time yesterday; totally over-analysing it to the extent that I over excitedly shared an idea for a starting XI with my cousin last night only to receive a text back saying 'that's a starting XII you plank'. A lot depends on Winks and Goat but it sadly doesn't look great for either of them. I think I've settled on having no options from the bench (unless lamela deems it suitable to be fit) and would go with: Hugo Trippier Toby Jan Davies Wanyama Dele Lucas Eriksen Rose Llorente Subs: Gazza, Dave, Foyth, KWP, Skipp, Dier, Random bloke from the crowd who happens to play up front for his pub team.
The PL2 and U18 league seasons have both finished (unless I've missed something...) so that could well mean Parrott, Marsh and Eyoma are considered for spots on the bench against Bournemouth and/or Everton - and it has to be said Parrott and March have been seen training with the first team lately (as has Alfie Whiteman, although the odds of him featuring for the remainder of this season are practically nil)
29.51mm - the distance Aguero's goal crossed the line by. That's a length Liverpool fans can probably identify with at the moment. please log in to view this image
Don't knock a parrot I have 2 African greys Charlie and wait for it LEDLEY I'm all for young parrot making his debut this season even if pardon the pun he's on the wing
And that's the problem for United managers...they are still being compared to SAF 6 years after he left.
Tottenham legend Clive Allen suggested that Mauricio Pochettino's side will miss Heung-Min Son more than Harry Kane against Ajax in the Champions League on Tuesday night, when speaking exclusively to Stadium Astro. The South Korean has been in excellent form for Spurs this season, with 20 goals and 10 assists to his name in 45 appearances in all competitions thus far. Just thought I'd post a little support for myself.
