This really confused me. How anyone, especially the 'experts' and 'pundits', thought that this was anything other than a blatant red card must be living in a completely different universe. Whether he meant it or not is irrelevant. All these comments on Twitter by the likes of Fowler and Savage, as well as loads of Liverpool fans thinking they've been hard done by, was just incredible. You won't see a clearer sending off than that.
