Just watched the incident and confused with the 'not red' brigade comments saying Mane wasn't looking at the keeper. He was running pretty much straight at him for ****s sake so at the very least he would see him in peripheral vision. Straight red - no argument!!
Worst. Dive. Ever. If Coq au vin isn't banned for that, then this new rule is the joke that I suspect it is.
Nice to see Chris Hughton get off the mark with Brighton. Puts a bit more pressure on a couple of the sides below them, even at this early stage. Some itchy trigger fingers in boardrooms at the moment, I think.
Not sure what that thrashing's going to do for Liverpool's confidence as they were going so well. Methinks they'd better bounce back quickly. Is that the win to kick start Arsenal? Could be. Leicester had chances to win against Chelsea. West Brom and Saints have problems and the latter could take their customary drop this season. I don't think Watford will maintain this position for long.
Goalkeepers get far too much protection these days. If you can't aim the studs on the bottom of your boot towards their head while sprinting, what are you allowed to do? Says a lot that several ex-Mousers employed as pundits are using that argument without a speck of irony...
Surprised Jose didn't buy Wimmer to have him on the bench rather than in the oppo starting XI (it worked for Spurs for two seasons) .
God, what a load of women you lot have turned into. The way you lot are going on, anyone would think Mane had bit the Citeh GK while calling him a little black ...
So what do we have today about from the usual bipolar syndrome ?? A bit of Ox-schadenfreuden, and then :
Chelsea fans have been accused of singing anti-semitic chants at their game today against their feeder club. They truly are a uniquely malevolent breed of scum.
The most recent census showed 417 Jews in the Leicester area. I guess that's more than enough to offend the chav inbreds.
