Because Citeh and Chelski bought their current status, they didn't earn it. A fact that is never mentioned anymore, if it ever was, by the pundits.

You would think the "pundits" , after their Lesta fairytale love-in, would be openly
willing a club such as Spurs to win the PL and sustain that level, for the sheer
good it would do for the PL (incremental improvement over a period of time, no
financial advantage over the clubs you seek to usurp etc) , wouldn't you ...

The BBC informs me that today is the 27th anniversary of Man United's FA Cup victory against at Crystal Palace. I missed the game as one of my current wife's best friends chose that day to get married. The marriage was over within the year and thus far you are wondering what the **** I'm wibbling on about.........again.

One of the pointers to the fact that the relationship was doomed was the fact that she screwed a then current Spurs player on her hen night up against a wall in a South London nightclub knee-trembler. Mrs B told me but in the strictest of confidence and I'm under strict orders never to mention it to her, only partly because she's a Gooner.

Paul Stewart <ok>.

Just wanted to highlight this particular piece of nonsense from the Goon's game last night:

Crap backpass is handled, so it's an indirect free-kick. You can't take it in the six-yard box, so where does it go?
Not ****ing there! <laugh> What's he thinking?! How's he let the Arsenal players stand so close to the ball, too?
How did four professional officials allow that situation to develop? Really poor.
