Arsenal are playing as badly as we did there. Far too narrow and Liverpool always seem to have space outwide. Mostly they've just been poor. Xhaka and Coquelin might as well not be playing, they've done **** all.

So many poor players - Monreal, Mostafi, Welbeck, Iwobi all totally anonymous as well. Giroud's obviously injured. We were ****. They look disinterested,.

Just bizarre that you leave your one world class player on the bench and give Liverpool a 2 goal lead at home.
A 2-2 draw would be ideal so not unhappy with that goal.

First half aside, Arsenal are showing a little more determination that Spurs did against Liverpool!

And as much as a draw would be good for Spurs, there's no chance in hell that I'm willing another Arsenal goal...no way! Couldn't bring myself to the levels of an Arsenal supporter...

Owen Hargreaves - Origi does "everything" right when he hits the post. Surely not everything?

Their match has a six-page report on Ceefax. Six! Every other match has 2-3!

Today's results make tomorrow a must win (which means we'll draw <laugh>). We could open up serious gaps on Arsenal, Liverpool and United and effectively put Everton out of sight permanently.

Normally I would say a good set of results this weekend.
But such is the Pochettino revolution all we now care about is winning
the next game to close the gap to the only team above Spurs.

Winning tomorrow also means we can start putting together the list of teams who cannot finish above us, as having 56 points makes us out of reach for Sunderland, Hull and Middlesbrough.

What? I remember the bad old days of the Sugar Era where the boot was on the other foot by mid-March...

When does a Pool player ever get sent off at Klanfield, the same applies to United players at Old Toilet

It is an intriguing time of year, March. Always has been. Last season I felt it was at this point that the title slipped between our fingers. That horrendously tough triple-layered blow of losing to West Ham, drawing to 10-man Arsenal then being humiliated in Dortmund meant that we had missed 2 opportunities to go top and were handed our arses in Europe.

Chelsea have a very, very tricky fixture on Monday at the HMRC Arena - the only game dearer to West Ham than their cup final against us. If we win and they lose, I may just allow myself the faintest glimmer of hope. They have a slightly harder run-in than we do, especially as we no longer have the EL to worry about.

If we win tomorrow, City become the only team who can catch us in the immediate future due to their game in hand. But then again, they have a very tricky run of 5 games in the space of 2 weeks - a run ending with Liverpool at the Etihad. We have 3 fixtures in the same amount of time, and all of them are at the Lane.

For someone who is almost permanently pessimistic (my childhood was scarred by having to watch the likes of Nicola Berti and Paolo Tramezzani trying to play football in a Spurs shirt), if we win tomorrow it leaves us in a very strong position going into the international break at the end of March.

    If.
