Phil Dowd retired due to injury at the end of last season though, thankfully.
Probably after Mourinho slagged him off for being too fat. Not often I agree with him, but he's right.

Clattenburg must be highly regarded nowadays. He keeps getting important games outside of the FA's control. Didn't he get Euro 2016 and CL finals last season?

Personally i'll always think he's incompetent for the Mendes goal.

He's had everything in recent years and he's well regarded by his fellow professionals, apparently.
No idea why, because he's utterly ****e, has no idea how to control a game and bottles loads of big decisions.
He did the Euros Final, the CL Final and the FA Cup Final last season.

So how long before a journalist does their job and thinks that there's something slightly suspect that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba are all clients of the same agent, namely Mino Raiola, and all have either signed or are in negotiations to sign with Man Utd?

So it's time to put money on Hamsik and Balotelli to Old Trafford, then? Maybe not the latter, actually...

Boro seem to have brought in a few decent signings already

Not much activity at Everton though. They seem keen to make a marquee signing - but nobody's interested

Negredo is a brilliant signing for them, think he's a quality striker, a shame we didn't go for him instead of Soldado at the time!

Not surprising RE Everton's attempt of a marquee signing, they've been shower of **** for two seasons running, no European football and their best player wants out.

Just when you think Scottish football couldn't get any worse after Celtic squeezed past Gibraltars finest, along comes the Europa League qualifiers. Only Aberdeen progress with Hearts losing at home to Birkirkara from Malta...... Dave MacKay must be turning in his grave.

And Mourinho. He went on a rant after we stuffed them on New Years Day.
Post-match comments about him being too slow, but he allegedly called him fat and told him to quit to his face.
This was in a game where they actually got the most contentious decisions, too.
The league's just embarrassing now. Their League Cup is bloody weird, too.

    Moyes is a Mackem.
    Perfectly played by Sunderland.
Wait until the threat of Bruce returning raises it's particularly ugly head, then appoint absolutely anyone else.

He'll probably do a solid job there.
Won't win any prizes for style, but they'll accept that for a while.

Higuain to Juventus for an alleged £79m (Sky Sports Italy). That's a lot of money for a 29 year old and way out of Wenger's spending range. On the basis that, if Morata leaves Madrid he'll go to Chelsea or Citeh or someone else that will spend more than Wenger, it looks like Theo's going to get a testimonial at The Gooners. Excellent!

Arsene Wenger was never going to spend £79m on Higuain as that's a crazy price.
Theo is a winger but will get a couple of goals in PL and the FA Cup. Hasnt he scored a couple against Spurs ?
Perhaps Harrry will return to Arsenal as he is a Gooner:)
Even without a decent striker Arsenal will still finish above Spurs. Excellent

Moyes had a good record against Mourinho with Everton, didn't he? I'd enjoy Sunderland beating United nearly as much as a Spurs win.

    Great appointment for Sunderland imo.

Moyes is a well balanced individual, so he should bring some much needed stability to a club which needs stability right now after too many managerial changes in such a short time. I agree with you, this is a great appointment by Sunderland.

Good news for Leicester or just a free flight to meet up with the goons who are also in the states!
