Cheers all of you, had a couple of people suggest liverpool street and heard the elbow room too. @ The RBDB I am coming from Soton yes, and the train does go waterloo but I'm thinking of getting coach as it's cheaper which would take me to Victoria instead. Can't I get from there straight to Seven Sisters without changing on the tube though?
Victoria coach to tube station is a 5 min walk. Victoria line to Seven Sisters is 15-20 mins. Depending on KO and coach arrival time, finding a pub in Central London (Oxford Circus is only 2 stops from Victoria etc) might be another option for you.
Cheers pal, very helpful Hoping for our first win against you since being promoted again (only team we haven't beat ) Time will tell how big the game will be
Yeah, Seven Sisters is on the Victoria Line. If you want to go by train and keep the price down, it's probably best to get a Clapham Junction(return). From that point on you'll need a travelcard anyway and Waterloo isn't the best place to start in London if you want to get on the Victoria line so it's a wasted few extra quid. From Clapham then you can get a train direct to Victoria(there's trains every 10 minutes and it's only a 10 minute journey). I've just had a look at the prices and it's currently £43 for a return and including a travelcard which covers all the travel from CLJ onwards. Seems like a decent deal but coach might be cheaper, if a bit slower.
No chance of the Bricklayers on match day I'm afraid mate, to be honest with you it's a nightmare for away fans in our area, there's no designated pub for them, even up to Bruce Grove you'll struggle to find a pub. The best thing I can suggest is if you're travelling into Liverpool Street, have a few pints in the Spoons right outside (Hamilton hall it's called) and then jump on the train to White Hart Lane (takes about 30 mins from Liverpool Street).
If Leicester lose their next three and we beat WBA, the Chavs and then you, there's a fair chance all the Spurs pubs will let you in for a beer after the match.
Aguero puts City ahead against Newcastle, as they continue their flat-track bully act. Miles offside, but it's been coming.
Can't tell who I want to win. A Newcastle win would really help ensure that CL is pretty much a certainty but a City win would really put Newcastle on the brink and if we're fighting Leicester come the final game of the season, an already relegated Newcastle would be much better to face than one fighting for survival. While a draw is a decent result for both sides and not entirely terrible for us.
Citeh really have been bipolar this season. From that imperious form in the first few games, to be lucky to finish top 4. One thing though : Aguero is awake again. Kane will have to stay sharp if he wants to finish top PL scorer.
Have penalties been banned in the aftermath of the Leicester-West Ham match? Aguero should've had one there. City can't complain though, dreadful decision for their opener.
What this list fails to clarify is why Clattenberg has had so many high profile derps when we've played Man Utd: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36075347
Or why so many refs claim to support lower league sides. Or why none of them are from London. Or why Roger East is allowed to dodge the question, apparently.
