Arsenal draw 0-0 with Hull at the Library, so another game in a packed schedule for them. Surely good news for us.

It's good news, no doubt. Hull unlucky with some offside decisions late on too. It all adds to the self-doubt they are feeling and Barcelona are going to murder them.

Having said he didn't want a replay, Wenger doesn't come out of dressing room for interview. Pressure telling Arsene?

You can see Sanchez thinking - "Walcott...couldn't hit the back of the net?...couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat!"

Is that an extremely rare sighting of the Wheelchair Wilshere of legend?

Perfect example of biased refereeing today. Koscielny on a caution goes in studs up on a tackle and doesn’t get the second card. Simpson pulls someone back and does. Huddlestone provided an absolutely gilt edged chance for the winner, but his target hit the ball right at the keeper in clear fifteen feet away. The Hull GK was fabulous.

I was at Reading v WBA today and I am sorry to report our old favourite Sandro, looks a shadow of the player we enjoyed watching. The injury looks to have knocked the career out of him.

I was hoping to see Alex Pritchard, but he only got on for the last 5 minutes. I now understand there was a serious incident at the end of the game involving a coin being thrown.

Dreadful news if true. Very much like West Brom today, dreadful.

Apparently Chris 'better stats than Xavi' Brunt approached the away fans to offer his shirt to them in reconciliation for an awful performance and one of their own knobbed him on the head with a coin. He was fuming about it afterwards.

On the more positive side, how good have Reading been in the FA Cup lately?

I spent my day making my annual trip to see Brentford. Made me feel all nostalgic to see a side completely collapse like that :D Derby well deserved it though.

I think David Button will be picked up by a PL side soon, he's been excellent.

Speaking of ex-academy goalkeepers, Jordan Archer pulled off a rather unorthodox save for Millwall yesterday:

Got to be one of the worst back-passes of the season.

He's done a very good job for them this season, apparently.
Keeping the highly experienced David Forde out of the side.

Leicester will have had a two week break in the time the 2-4 teams have played three games each. Surely that should help them...or will it? They’ve also had two weeks to think about a supremely galling loss to the officials at the Emirates. How many times will it have occurred to them that without that sending off they’d probably be five points clear of us, and 8 of Arsenal? Even a draw would have put them three ahead of us, and 5 of the goons.

It’s also just possible a long-ish break may be worse for a team than too many games. Moving forward, City and ourselves are out of the FA cup, while Arsenal are not only still in, but have a replay to jam in to their schedule. On the other hand, they’re sure to be out of the CL soon. We might or might not still have Europa left. Finally, while I still expect City to get back in the race, they’ve done nothing but fall apart since the news they have a lame duck coach broke--which brings back some memories.
