Arsenal very, very lucky not to be 2-0 down.

Juventus level it up! Didn't expect that at all. 2-2.

Flamini's first touch is to send Messi to the floor in the box! <laugh>
    Great sub, Arsene!

Is it just me or are Barca's centre-halves not all that? Good footballers, but there are better defenders out there.

    Mertesaker's fault, not Flamini's

I'd blame both. Probably more down to the German, but that's less funny.

The game at the Nou Camp should be restricted to stop any Goons of a delicate mental state from being allowed to watch.

That would rule out half of their team and the manager, though.

It should be the end for this lot:

Mertesacker, Giroud, Oxlade-Wotsit, Walcott, Ramsay, Welbeck, Flamini are good enough for the Wenger Top 4 Trophy but they're not going to get beyond the last 16 of the CL. Add in Rosicky and Arteta and that should be a big rebuild but I don't think Arsene's got the heart for it.

Why do they play Mertesacker against teams with any quality?

Is there a handicapping system in place? Play Mertesacker or Ozil wears a blindfold? Tie Sanchez's bootlaces together?

In Barca's system everyone has to be a good footballer and defence is part of everyone's remit.

TBF, there isn't any English team that is currently anywhere near good enough to win the CL.

If Wenger had any sense he'd send the kids out to the Nou Camp so their first team are fresh for their match against us and they (1st team) don't suffer the humiliation of getting absolutly hammered by Barca a few days before playing us. Fortunately, he doesn't have any sense.

I like Mascherano, think he's very good tackler but him and Pique probably look a much better pairing than what they actually are thanks to the fact they have Busquets protecting them and Barca rarely allowing the opposition to venture in to their half due to the possession they have. In fairness to Arsenal they did have one or two attacks that could've resulted in a goal but their poor composure in the final moments cost them.

How brilliant was Barca's first goal though? The moment Neymar played in Suarez down the wing I said straight away that was going to be it when you saw Messi running on the other side, has there been a better attacking trio than those three in world football? Rivaldo, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo could make an argument but these three are breathtaking to watch.
