Bad news for the goons and pool, one of their rivals, the Toons Demba Ba, is on his way home to Newcastle already! Senegal fans digest another nations Cup nightmare ... please log in to view this image
Yesterday: MUPLC to offer £50m for Luka Modric Today: MUPLC to offer £20m plus a player for Rafael Van Der Vaart I doubt even their magic overdraft could cover that outlay...
It's got to the point now where ridiculous transfer speculation about our players has just become white noise. It's such a relentless constant that it fades into the background and only annoys occasionally.
Modric has been valued as "priceless" by Levy, and Bale has been valued at £150 million. Don't worry, lads! If we did sell those two players, we'd be able to buy Barcelona's entire squad
There's also the minor fact that, if Man Utd really had the £70m for Modric and VDV (or £35m for Sneijder), why did they have to resort to asking Paul Scholes to come out of retirement? If I were Man City or Chelsea, I'd start picking apart their squad and see how much Bacon Face likes being on the receiving end of the way he's treated numerous other clubs for the last couple of decades...
I am afraid that we are going to have to endure quite a bit of this kind of bull-sh*t (found whilst casually browsing the Mickey Mouse board) God forbid they actually win the final!
i think i should remove Liverpool now from the rival watch thread and replace them with Newcastle United.
Given the rumours of Carrick and Berbatov heading to the Theatre of Schemes started in the January of those particular years, there's a difference between paper talk linking a player to (for the sake of argument) Newcastle, and paper talk linking a player to Man Utd.
Interesting that the FA Cup has thrown together the Racist Derbies!....on a serious note, how ridiculous that the authorities in this country have allowed this fixture to come round, QPR v Chelsea, without having sorted the issue from the first one.
To be fair to the FA, the police involvement has probably put their investigation on hold for a while, at least.
