  5. WY, as you know, it's very unlike me to have a pop at the Mickeys, so I'm not going to take any cheap shots or engage in any kind of wummery.

Other than to say to the likes of Hansen, Saggers & Quinney, and any other tosser who thought that Queen Kenny and his band of donkeys would do anything other than flounder in the EPL that now is about time you all shut the fcuk up!

shame chelsea didn't lose like Pool and Toon, but a good set of results nevertheless.

AVB thinks Chelsea are still in the title race, er you're not :)

Wenger takes his best player on the day off and replaces him with Arshavin who lets Valencia just run around him and set up the goal.
Even the crowd were booing him.LOL.

The 'Wenger out' is running riot on the Arsenal board for that substitution.

This would cheer me up, but I was hoping for a draw in this game, we need it to stay in touch with United now.

  12. Thanks for the offer but will decline, sorry!!
Was actually hoping you'd get an equaliser, but the substitution killed the game for you!!

(thought you lot played well for much of the 2nd half - O-C looks a good player, even if Walnut is still a muppet....)

  13. RVP's reaction was significant. Not good for morale and he may now be losing the dressing room.... The bell tolls loudly

  14. I wasn't watching- what exactly did Van P do? Was it something about the sub that didn't go down too well?

Worrying for arsenal if he's not on board, by FAR their best player...

City really should bid for van Persie now.
Even if it didn't work, he'd probably get totally unsettled by their interest.

  16. He basically looked towards the Whinger and shouted/mouthed 'NO!!!' when he made the substitution....
Very obvious and public dissent for the decision - and totally justified frankly!!!

    Very funny, though! <laugh>
    I wonder how Arshavin felt?
Must've been like being the fat kid at school that always got picked last.

One of the strangest substitutions i've ever seen,I see Wenger is defending it.
Even he must see that it was this sub that cost Arsenal the game.

He is defending making the decision to sub Oxo. It was correct at the time if Oxo was tiring as Wenger states. It proved costly, but that's the beauty of hindsight.

Arshavin isn't the best player we have, but would the substitution still have been a bad one had he come on and scored a couple to win the game? No.
