Guardiola knows how to win trophies. Harry knows how to entertain the fans. It's been decades since Spurs could do both at once. I'd settle for boredom and trophies.

I don't understand any part of that thinking. Boredom & Trophies??? so you are not really interested in football it's just being able to brag about 'your team' winning trophies. If there is one team in the premier league that is about the football it plays then it's Spurs.

I have no wish to witness Spurs do an old Leeds or Arsenal at all.

The worst of all worlds is no trophies and boring football, that will never do. I think some sacrifice of entertainment is ok if it has us involved in semi finals and in the running for CL, but in the end the most important thing is entertainment. I want Spurs players to do things that make me say Wow - as Bale/VDV did often in recent years. I could live with the odd 4-3 defeat if it has been exciting.

"If there is one team in the premier league that is about the football it plays then it's Spurs."

Indeed.
Isn't the collective whining this season about the on-pitch style of play, and not the fact the
current PL points total is around where it has been every season Spurs have finished at least 5th ??

Quite right, although back in the day West Ham also had that. Imagine being a hammer for 30 years and having to witness the long ball garbage they now watch. A long time ago West Ham were my second team. Not any more.

Also no coincidence that the style of play has been key to the recent success of the club.

All of the 80s had Spurs playing decent football.
Getting into the CL places dogfight occurred under BMJ and Arry due to decent football
being played.

Think the papers are carrying on April Fools day for us.

Kaboul to Arsenal and the Fail reports that Levy made a bid to buy Upton Park last season.

We get enough WUM's as it is, let alone the papers now joining in!

Kaboom has rubbished those reports

Younes Kaboul ‏@YounsKabs4 ·3h
I can confirm 100% that the rumour about me joining Arsenal is not true!!! #coys

Nor me.

I actually quite enjoy watching Barcelona play. While the tactics are a trifle boring the relentless pressing followed by keeping the ball is intriguing to watch. I'm happy with the Guardiola version of boring not the pre-Wenger Arsenal one.

Barca won't be signing Verts or Lloris in the near future either thanks to the FIFA transfer embargo.

Chelsea had theirs overturned by the CAS when they appealed the same punishment for encouraging Kakuta to break his contract (while the Manchester clubs weren't punished for the same thing over Pogba or Jeremy Helan, nor Liverpool attempting to do likewise for Max Clayton)

Chelsea are in real trouble after that result. Mourinho's season appears to be falling apart over the last few weeks.
Good bit of skill from Pastore to put PSG in a commanding position, but he should never have been allowed to score from the position that he was in and Cech should've done better.

Kakuta's club dropped the charges after being paid off, whereas Barca's relate to a whole bunch of players, apparently.
The Spanish FA have been implicated and the rumour is that Real and Atletico also face charges.

Reports from Paris that Chelsea fans went on a bit of a rampage prior to the game, smashing up shops and making Nazi salutes. Sounds about right.

Mourinho seemed more relaxed about things than I would have expected. I suppose that he will claim, with some justification, that this is not "his" team, that he needs to change things. So, looks like Roman Sugar Daddy had better get his piggy bank back out...

PSG fans destroying the Fulham Road I wonder in the return? Probably wouldn't notice the difference!
