That's 17,000 and 22,000 more fans than you thought they had.

But so far they've only bought a replacement for Cech (2nd choice GK) and loaned Falcao (replacement for Drogba, 3rd choice striker).
Also rumoured to have bid for Pedro (replacement for Salah and Cuadrado, both bench warmers) and bid for Stones (presumably a long term replacement for Terry)
None of their activity this summer is for the first team and only Pedro would get anywhere near first choice.
No, they were the best of a bad bunch, United and Liverpool were very poor (compared to how they should be), Arsenal were their usual selves and City only played for half a season. Most years Chelsea would not have walked the league with the season they just had and will need to strengthen if they want to defend the title.
It's more than that though. The prize this season has to include the CL and imo their first team is nowhere near good enough. The way they got passed off the pitch by PSG was embarrassing. I still dont think their first 11 is good enough to succeed in the CL. Pedro would be a massive plus for that though.

Well, he is one of the best players in the world
If you were going to classify players into several different classes where each class contained players of the same quality and so different classes distinguished different levels of quality, since he would be in the class containing the best players in the world, you might even call him "world quality"
Good player, excellent reputation in Europe, expensive transfer, under used, sold off.
Yep sounds like the Chelsea dream
