Can't help feeling some of you scousers are taking out your hatred of United against Southampton. You're taking this loss worse than the Saints fans. Writing them off and basically slating them when all they've done is lost to a potential top 4 rival.

First example of a team losing and another set of fans having the meltdown <laugh>

Nah this game is nothing compared to Everton being ****e against Man City last season

WTF are you on about?

Before today's game Van Gaal whinged about Falcao being match fit.

Before today's game Van Gaal had given him about 32 minutes in the last 2 games.

Now it's 32 minutes in the last 3 games.

Van Gaal prefers Wilson to him. It's not difficult. He's a #crock.

Total lack of football understanding, are you Brendan?
Wilson has not been injured and has hadl matches for th U21s.
You do not throw a player lacking match fitness into the first team unless you have total control or are desperate.

It doesn't really matter what LVG says in public. As long as he's giving the right message to the player behind closed doors. Wouldn't you agree Astro? <whistle>

So Van Gaal had no control over the last 3/4 games and is just riding his luck, we are in agreement <ok>

#melt, put down your Pot Noodle, we need some kind of a chart from you. The league table would be fine.

I have asked him to find the relevant stats for the head to head (Moyes v Van Gaal) teams played as in where were they last year compared to this. It is based on stats so he should be able to make a graph quite easily <laugh>

If we weren`t 3 goals up in the games he didn`t come on, then yes we agree we weren`t in enough control <ok>

You sound like you're describing a fragile youth player, not a #worldclass talent

Some managers complain about only having a couple of days with a player, TBF maybe the #tacticalgenius is just so advanced 3 weeks with a £50m player barely scratches the surface <ok>

Again showing total lack of football knowlege, 3,5 or 10 weeks of training does not get a player match fit or sharp, most managers rush players back because they have no alternative (see Brendan). Football is very competetive, LVG has got us to third with a very depleted squad, I don`t see him risking that by dropping RVP or Rooney to give a player some game time.
Why take a risk when you have RVP, Rooney and Wilson? If you have a top player you play him at his best, when he can make a difference.

Yeh hes ok for a keeper used to playing with a back 7. Both at madrid and chelsea. The worlds two most defensive bus services.

Seriously though, would he look as good in the united side? De gea would be bored at chelsea. Hes have to spend all game calling terry a ****er in spanish and confusing the **** out of him just for a laugh.

You could twist that argument and say the poor defense at Man Utd gives De Gea the opportunity to look good :)

Should be easy enough to come up with something based on the co-efficients of four leafed clovers, horseshoes and Our Lord's donkey.

Because if you take that risk and it works out, you'd have one of the best strikers around playing for you which might help push for a title challenge...? worked for us with Suarez last year (who would have played with a broken leg <laugh>)

Because then he'd be for and ready for that game you do need him in

Or we'd rush him back to early and have him crocked again, and us having to play out the rest of the Saints game with ten men having used all our subs.

Which game is Rodgers getting Sturridge fit and ready for?

True but hasn't he been "coming back" for a couple of weeks now? How long does it take and why put him on in other games if he's not ready?

I'm not arguing that he should have played yesterday, I'm not even arguing that it should be played. Just offering reasoning <ok>

Clearly the Sturridge situation has taught you nothing.

Sturridge has been rushed back every time, RF as been involved in two games already and on the verge of a return for a couple of weeks. Slightly different situation <doh>

As i just said to Swarbs, I'm not suggesting he should have played anyway, just offering a reason as to why it would be beneficial to you guys.
