You could apply the same to Veron too. In fact, why not go further and point at Shevchenko, Crespo or Torres at Chelsea too? They had some world class players in their squad to play alongside!

****, i will get it right soon. It was never a case of who they played alongside, it was who they had to displace :cheesy:

I was only responded to what I saw you quote and comment to. I only saw the last couple of comments and can't be arsed to read back further so I may well be barking up the wrong tree here anyway <ok>

I gave two answers and an edit to one post of yours <laugh> The original discussion was about players settling in to a new team <ok>

Sigurdsson looks such a good player for Swansea. Bit gutted he went to Spurs instead of us as think Rodgers would have got him playing this way for us instead of him becoming average at Spurs.

Him & Hendo in that midfield would have been very good this year.

He's hardly gone mental or lost it, he voiced his concerns in a calm voice and clearly didn't care about repercussion from his comments. Sometimes, these things need to be said.

I agree and I support what he's said

The FA will comb his every word in every interview for something that can be twisted to justify charging him

The investigation into consistently poor refereeing will consist of laughing over an expensive (undeclared gift) whisky

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has said it was "stupid" to tell people to judge him on his first three months at Old Trafford.

When the Dutchman took charge of the club in July, he said his methods usually bore fruit after three months.

With that initial period up, United are sixth in the league after two losses.

Van Gaal, 63, said: "It was very stupid to say three months because then the media are only talking about three months."

Talk about back tracking <laugh>
Wonder if this is because United are still aren't doing particularly well <whistle>

I think he is having a pop at the stupid media, he knows they have been waiting for the day his 3 months was up to ask the questions when it is obvious to most people that he meant roughly 3 months was the time it took for him to get his views over.
Or maybe he has seen something in training the last few days which has shown him the penny has dropped and we will improve from this day forward :bandit:

So if Man Utd hadn't been **** he would have been saying "well don't give me any credit yet this is just the start?" <laugh>

He's had almost 1/3 of Moyes's career so far and all he's done is dump you out of every competition he could and put you 7-10 points behind Moyes in the PL
