Basically, if I was vG, and I witnessed a lethargic warm up I'd have pulled them altogether and grabbed one of them and turned him to face the rest and said "WTF was that you ****ing ****s, if this is going to be how you will approach this game I'll sell you to ****ing Yeovil starting with this ****" or "anyone who doesn't perform, their wife will receive a visit from the assistant manager" , I'd have ripped into them.

Then I'd have said "you think I'm a ****? then go out there and show me I'm a ****"

At least they would have been mad starting that game. Sometimes you need to fire them up any way you can.

you are right there, if he did find the utd team lacking whatever he says was lacking then he should have done something.

to lose 3-0 knowing somethign wasn't right suggests a lack of response to a known issue.

I think in reality it's excuses.

I've seen lfc looking absolute jokers in warm up in the past them rip into a utd right from the off... if there was something off it was in the whole build up to the game and you are right van gaal should have fired them up more.. but then it was just their satellite club so i suppose how could they care

 

True, it's hard to get fired up whne playing your own reserve side and especially when some of those reserves will be playing with you next season

Not only is van Gaal's best players Moyes' signings but he'll probably go raid everton in the sumer too just like Moyes
