Why is no one slagging off Eto'o?

Rodgers gives Sterling a planned midseason break, we lose no games without him, he comes back and scores a worldie against Chelsea, but the meda expodes anyway

Meanwhile Eto'o gets weeks off to whore himself out to find a better club while still being paid by struggling Everton who haven't won since 2012 or some ****

Of course no one gives a **** about Everton compared to Liverpool, but not a single mention from the media or fans?

It's funny to see player X being brought up to mitigate player Y of their misdemeanors. Somehow even IF United fans accept Cantona in a moment of madness behaved like a violent thug (much like Gerrard btw), I doubt very much any liverpool fans would accept Suarez equally behaved like a racist c**t. That's the real irony and hypocrisy here.

As for Cantona, Gerrard and let's include Zidane also, even though they showed moments of poor judgement, leading to violence these were isolated. Overall they had far more redeeming qualities that allowed ppl to like them. The same can't be said of Suarez.

If you're referring to the DJ thing, he got found not guilty in a court of law plus it wasn't football related.

 

The circumstances he got found not guilty dont change the fact he was violent. On the pitch or not, isnt this all about the person rather than the player? Seems convenient to somehow limit it to a football pitch just bcos it's one of your players that does it. Anyway, even if we put Gerrard to one side, the rest still stands.

 

Of course it "changes the fact", do you really think Suarez is the same off the pitch as on it?, Suarez was punished for his actions on the pitch and Gerrard was found not guilty off it, it matters not that you think he was guilty because you weren't there on the night nor where you the judge in court.

Tobes made the point earlier in the thread that Giggs's behaviour off the pitch has no bearing on his day job, the reverse should also apply Treble.
Why do you feel the need to rope Gerrard into what Cantona did?

 

Why not throw Robin Van Persie or Wayne Rooney into the equation too then

Not forgetting Ravel Morrison, Fergie's morals told him to **** the lad off for something that "happened off the pitch", so his morals only apply if the player in question ain't big name.

Well Suarez was found guilty of racial abuse but none of you scousers seem to care much for the verdict there? I bring Gerrard into it bcos it's a heck of a lot closer to Cantona's conduct than Suarez.You're the one who started off by saying violence such as that by Cantona is common assault (edited). I think it's a fair comparison for all those reasons.

I still see none of you have actually responded to my original point Lets be straight, there's no way any of you are going to admit Suarez acted like a racist prick so why bang on about Cantona. You hold no moral high ground on this at all. At least I can accept Cantona's violent idiocy. He received his punishment and rightly so.

When you just say found guilty it gives a different impression to the reality of what happened.
Personally I find go **** your sister more insulting than any reference to my skin colour.

If it was in school they both would have been punished, which goes to show, the FA have far less common sense than the average school teacher.

you miss the point. You are taking Evra's word as fact and then trying to use it as a fact. If Suarez was punished Evra should have seen 4 or so games himself.

That the FA chose to ignore that Evra became abusive and provoking is another matter, as well as just taking his word for it after previously calling him a liar over the Chelsea race thing. hmmm? smells a bit fishy. Are you also denying there was a Fergie ball licker on the 3 man panel? I am only dealing in the facts here after all.
