Ofcourse you would, picking that midfield for us while picking their best for them <laugh>

    ----Blind----Carrick
    Herrera--Mata---Di Maria

but I'd go as far as playing two up front with Rooney in a free role...

    ----------Carrick
    Herrera--------------Di Maria
    -----------Mata

There's arguments to favour any of those midfields tbf, but to say they're far superior, I don't think so.

So you'd play Herrera, a deep lying play maker, on the Right wing. That's why you're not a manager <laugh>

I would play him next to Carrick, but he's played on the right for us a few times already and done very well. In the diamond he's not on the RW as the fullback (currently Valencia) is still being used as the wide man.

I wouldn't play him in front of Mata playing deeper (which seemed to be what we were doing today)

In your first team you have a 4231 formation with blind & Carrick holding and Herrera on the right. Unless you're saying he would play centrally then you'd have a totally unbalanced midfield with 4 in the middle and no one on the right.

    No <laugh>

But I rate Herrera very much (who you missed out). And I wouldn't put Mata anywhere other than as the number 10.

I'll hold my hands up and say I was in a dilema to drop Blind instead of Januzaj. Decisions decisions :p Here's the thing, in a 4-2-3-1 I'd have Herrera next to Carrick but then I have the Blind/Januzaj dilema. I'm also not keen on a lone striker although with those 5 creating/scoring behind maybe I'm being pessimistic. BUT in a diamond, Herrera plays on the right of the diamond and we keep two (Rooney + another) up front.

While LFC have sunderland and basel to ocome I must ask:

Is rooney knackered? I mean its terrible if he is cos he never does well v liverpool.

Will Van Gaal's total lack of medical knowldge lead to utd have 10 players drop udring our match leading to a walkover..

I can only imagine di maria ripping his hamstring from stem to stern, Rojo's shoulder falling off, rooney's leg falling off.... RvP's premature aging leading to baldness, and so forth and so on.

Is van gaal a player breaker?

Still not to worry LFC will get balotelli out no the pitch to even the playing field <laugh>

    I think btw

herrera is off to bayern?? (don't really think so but hey <laugh>)
    Blind is a left full
    Rojo is a left full
    shaw is a left full
    Felliani is a donkey
Mata is far too slow to be a top player (flat track bully isn't that what you guys say)
Soooooo... yeah Utd have options. <laugh>

Its really simple. the future for utd is without carrick and without mata.

    De gea (you hope stays)
    Rafael X rojo Shaw
    Felliani Blind
    Shaqiri Rooney Di maria
    Falcao

So bascially utd only need what 4 new defenders to be a world class side <laugh>
