  • Champions League

  • FA Cup

  • League Cup

I just don't see why Tobes, UIR, etc have to make a big deal about it other than because of who posted it.

We're not making a big deal out of it, just saying it's bollocks as a meaningful measure and explaining why. He's chosen to argue that it's not, and a discussion broke out <doh>

Having listened patiently to the arguments of all parties involved, taken into account all available statistics (both this season and last season), accounted for the various lay lines in the area of each ground in the premiership (just for the conspiracy theorists), then run all the information through Big Blue (the world's most powerful computer, capable of beating chess Grandmasters), then tossed my lucky Indian Chief dollar coin (just to involve those Soccer fans from the colonies in this), then studied the activities of local Badgers (we all know who that's for), I have come to the inevitable conclusion that Utd are crap! and are not going to win the Prem or get a top four finish.

I think the problem most people had was astro's claim that it somehow showed Moyes got 'far more points'. Two more points is not far more points, however you look at it.

Even the most conceptually simple theory becomes complicated to understand if the person trying to explain it is justifying it with data and arguments that are utterly wrong.

I don't know when he said it but since I doubt it was more than two weeks ago, fair enough <laugh>

I wasn't just talking about in this thread Tobes. You brought this up at the start of the season in the '2014-15 Season Progress' thread too :)

Shouldn't have wasted your time, my five year old could have told you that <ok>

Some Liverpool fans are in denial of what's happening at their club, choosing instead to to shy away from it and talk about Man United

Nope. We talked about ourselves yesterday and today.

Seems like Mancs (and the #bitter) are desperate to get their defence of Van Gaal in early ahead of tonight's game

Probably because you will all disappear (except UiR TBF) from the board if the #tacticalgenius doesn't win

#worried

Wouldn't it be better then to ask him to show how he came up with the figures rather than make possibly incorrect assumptions? It may even make him realise his argument was flawed [if indeed it is].

TBF, they can't help having connection difficulties <ok> <whistle>

Liverpool just played and they choose to talk about Man United lol

You're in a rival watch thread too <laugh>

Feel free to look at the QPR match thread. Its got more comments in that one thread than all your seasons worth of match threads put together <laugh>
