But they deserve it for Holland's WC 3rd place and winning the Guinness Cup in America.<grr>

I don't think so. Every chance he'll revert to 3 at the back which tbh is questionable in itself. I think it's early days, but there will need to be some discipline between Blind and Herrera when one goes forward who covers. Other than that, the defence are changing so often (mainly because of injuries) that it's the main cause for the uncertainty between the back line.

Not at all. Mata, Blind and Herrera pulled (an albeit poor) QPR midfield apart. Di Maria was quality, but without the movement of those three, I think we would have had an isolated Di Maria trying to do it all on his own and becoming disheartened like we did in his last match. Most of all I was happy with the way our players actually wanted the ball, used the width (created by Di Maria) to create in-roads through the centre. Something we haven't done for a fck of a long time...even against the so-called **** teams. I'll leave the throwaway remarks about Rafael, they mean very little.

I'm not sure why these Man Utd fans are so desperate to convince us that it was a good performance and that we're all scared of them now <laugh>

What I mean is that to dominate games you cannot rely on sides retreating to thier own 18 yard box like qpr, when your best players are all forward looking to drop one to play two full backs more advanced or to fit 3 cbs is a mistake

Redknapp clearly felt you'd play 3 back there and set up to negate it which would mean a player wasted....

I'm well on record as to where utd will finish via blog, seen nothing to shock me today or yesterday either!

So..... The only question is did the commentators jizz themselves before falcao came on or right when his boot touch the field of play.... Yes he's won a couple of cups in Portugal and helped athletico develop but f me they were spanking themselves Royston over a half fit player and saying any young fan should watch this like god himself had arrived

I found that quite funny, I found the result inevitable once qpr sat back well within their own half

I think people are ignorant not to be wary of them at least. utd will be right up there. As it looked at the start of the season, the chavs have got too much and city, well they are city. I think Arsenal have added well and utd haven't bough wisely, but they got enough talent in that they will compete. A team with Falcao, Di Maria, Van Persie and Mata will score and win a lot, they just will. We will do very, very well (better than last season) to manage top 4 again.

Yeh which is why I think the understanding between Herrera/Blind/Carrick depending on which two play, is going to be pivotal. It's a work in progress at the moment. I don't think any sane United fan is going to say we've fully recovered, or that one game against a poor QPR side means all our problems are sorted, but fck me it was refreshing to see some fluid attacking football from us today. BTW don't you think at the very least, some of the managers of the so-called lesser teams will have watched that today and will be thinking twice about venturing out of that 18 yards (or their own half) at our ground?

I didn't notice the love fest over Falcao when he came on tbh and that's the truth. What do you expect from Sky though?? You think that's just a United thing? They do it with all the big clubs and big signings ffs. Had he scored that rebound it would have been a good end to the match, but other than that I'm not really fussed about Falcao's performance, coming on when we're 4 up, the pace had slowed right down with the players taken off and the game in terms of its intensity from us, was well and truly over by then.

" ADM's performance has certainly got the Scousers rattled. They've even been joined by a Chelsea fan who clearly didn't like what he saw today!"

You are clearly deluded Shteve, we're laughing at your ejaculating over a win against a piss poor team.<whistle>

You're rattled enough to be trawling the United board to cut and paste my post! Been an eye opening weekend for Liverpool, the champions elect!
