Oh yeh we did. Like old fashioned european cups they dont count?
Yeh like the statues outside OT don't count?

We were champions and quite clearly had the best squad in 2012/13. Bring up the table amd i will explain why.
Are we including wages too? Your spendings a whope lot higher. Very comparable to ours...
Tell me page, whats liverpools revenue like? Ours is insane so big spending is of no concern. Is yours like that? Could you spend without selling a 65million player each year?
If you care about revenue & spending as much as this post makes out maybe you should support Tesco instead.
Youve answered a question with a question page. Go lie down.

Remind me which bellends are upset over a club spending its own money...
Not one Liverpool fan is upset over Man Utd spending massive money on Di Maria & Falcao, I think most are actually relieved you spent massively on players you didn't really need.
The only person upset on here is you because we aren't praising your club universally for signing such "world class" players.

Falcao is a great signing - but at oh my gosh what a price £350k pw is insane- even if as low as £280k p/w for a player you can't resell. Still it's their money... and it is a great signing.
The Maria signing is a bit of a joke. It's the Torres to Chelsea signing for 2014.
Falcao is easily better than RVP and Rooney if he doesn't get injured. Still crap all over the rest of the field. United hoping Falcao will be their Bale, and bail them out of trouble winning points even thought the rest of the team are useless.
Meh, you've both spent a kings ransom this summer, albeit in quite different ways. The season will show who's done the better business and therefore ultimately got the better value.
While we're talking about the issue of spending, nice to see FFP actually start to make a difference - as City and Chelsea have finally been reigned in, both had a net spend of less than Everton ffs!

Yeah I know, but without FFP I doubt either City or Chelsea would have sold to buy in the manner they did. Hull spent more than double what Chelsea did net, lol.Your net spend is about as much as ours
We've spent a fortune because we got a fortune from 1 player, much like Chelsea who got a load of cash from Luiz & Lukaku.
You have to admit its funny how the liverpool fans spent all summer telling united fans we couldn't attract world class players with no champions league and being a midtable club etc etc...
Even rodgers got in on the act
Plus with about 30million difference in spending theyre not really in a position to say much.
Pity it wasn't there years ago when they were spending with impunity and building up squads no-one else could match.Yeah I know, but without FFP I doubt either City or Chelsea would have sold to buy in the manner they did. Hull spent more than double what Chelsea did net, lol.

How did you get Uncle Bill to cough up so much, btw?
Attract or pay for?
Let's be right it always comes down to who's actually prepared to pay up and then how much is on the table.
Taking my club as example we paid £28m for Lukaku, who was lauded as a future star last season, but then had a crap WC. Aside from us and Wolfsburg where there any concrete offers on the table for him? No. Are we daft enough to think that if there was from a CL club that he wouldn't he have taken it over us, No.
Falcao would have walked to Madrid that they put the money up, so was he attracted to United or was it merely the only concrete bid on the table? Same goes for Di Maria.
is it likely that Di Maria would have many suitors?
