Tommy Lawrence, ex Liverpool keeper, affectionately known by their fans as the Flying Pig, has died aged 77.
Was in the news not so long back when stopped on the way to a Liverpool v Everton match and asked about his memories of a derby in Shankly's days by a reporter who was unaware he was talking to someone who had played in that match.

I have family from the Wirral.

There's an oft-told anecdote from his time at Tranmere where he got stuck in a toilet bowl.

Happy memories of times spent with family, some since passed, pissing themselves with laughter.

RIP
