Got the call i've been expecting for a while now,my beautiful Sister has died of emphysema. It's a terrible disease having you gasping for breath and having to rely on oxygen bottles.
Sleep well Sis, love ya.
Really sorry to hear that
Condolences to you and your family

Sorry lad, your words are good... RIP your Sis...

I’ve been to three funerals in the last couple of weeks. All adults, but everyone of them relatively young and still had their parents there at the funeral

No one should bury their kids whatever age. Tragic

My boy was discharged to the district nurse today. We know how far there is yet to go and we know how close we came. Your words are spot on. There but for the grace of God...

So sad , deepest sympathy .

Mike Nicholson from Wolfreton School sadly passed away yesterday. I’m sure he taught a few people on here. Absolutely brilliant teacher and could teach any subject put to him. Well known for running with the Olympic torch through Beverley.
Police are trying to trace his next of kin, seen the appeal on my Facebook feed several times today. I always presumed he had family in Ireland.

Really sad, just seen it myself

A horrible start to the year for you Rover. Hopefully you'll take solace from her not having to suffer any more... she's a blink away..

None of you on here will know him but a long time City fan from my neck of the woods passed away last week aged 60. There in all the bad times.usedto go on the psycho buses. Missed out on the good times, play off v Bristol and never sawa PL game as struck down by the thing which has eventually killed him in 2007 and was housebound ever since.
Remember him leading a conga along the front of the East Stand when we won promotion from Leagu 1 to the Championship.
Just to show that everything wasn't all roses pre Allams, both off field and among fans, he and his family and friends, about 10 or 12 of them, were told that following complaints about them being too boisterous and vociferous from fans around them they couldn't renew their season tickets there but could elsewhere but only in small groups. Some were thatbdisgusted they told them to stuff it but his son is still a passholder even though he has to work a fair few Saturdays.

Load of my old mates were banned in the first PL season, due to complaints from "fellow fans" because they were standing up at times, shouting and shock horror swearing.
