Quite ironic in a country where the president recently won the Nobel Peace Prize. Not directly related of course but still...

Christine Keeler. Aged 75.

She had her life formed quite early on, and carried it with her.

Benjamin Massing, the Cameroon defender with the dubious record of committing the worst tackle in World Cup history, has died aged 55.

given the run-of-the-mill underhanded and rarely punished dirty tactics of the argentinian team (tactics pointlessly but wholeheartedly embraced by the italians and the spanish at the time), i'm of the opinion that that was one of the **best** fouls in world cup history. granted caniggia wasn't one of their main offenders, but when that "tackle" happened, i stood up and applauded mr massing. i seem to remember cameroon winning that game and i for one was delighted. khama had spoken to the dirty argies.
