Miloš Forman, director of some bloody fantastic films like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Amadeus, has died at the age of 86. RIP.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is one of my all time favourite films, God bless Jack Nicholson.

One of my childhood heroes, Hull Vikings Speedway rider, Ivan Mauger, 78 has died, he’d been suffering from dementia. RIP.
I'll never forget Ivan Mauger, he was the catalyst that made Hull Vikings the great side that they were, a truly world class rider that made speedway look effortless.

One of my favourite sections of film ever - classic insults and apparently 50% or so were Lee improvising
Sad news indeed. The 'main man' from a period when Hull Vikings could claim to be one of the biggest sports success stories in the city. The atmosphere on those Wednesday nights at The Boulevard was something else. Unless I've dreamt it, there's currently an online petition going round to have him remembered in the city. Not sure of the details but I'm sure I've seen links to it via @HullVikings on Twitter.
It's actually a petition to have him recognised in Stockport...
