Very sad to hear that Carol Lee Scott, the magnificent Grotbags, has died.
Actress Joan Lee 93 RIP
I always thought Miriam Margolyes played Grot Bags?
I'd have put good money on it as well.

It's like those songs from 30 or 40 years ago, we can remember them word for word, but then we can't remember what we went into the kitchen forBob Dennison 83. Some older fans will remember him playing a few games for City but my memories of him are from when I was between the ages of 9 to about 13 when he was to myself and others a footballing collosus bestriding the Queensgate pitch in defence in the black and amber of Bridlington Town. Funny, I can remember all the names of the team he captained to a 3-1victory in the 1960 Yorkshire League Cup Final against Sheffield Wednesday reserves at Scarborough's ground more easily than City teans of recent years.
RIP Bob.

I remember the name, but vaguely remember what he looked like. He was playing in the same team as Paul Feasey, Brian Cripsey, Bill Bradbury, Brian Bulless, jock davidson, Billy Bly, Dennis Durham, Doug Clarke etc- for a couple of years in the mid-50's. Defender, maybe a fullback or half-back.Bob Dennison 83.
