Off Topic RIP JULY

I remember the name, but vaguely remember what he looked like. He was playing in the same team as Paul Feasey, Brian Cripsey, Bill Bradbury, Brian Bulless, jock davidson, Billy Bly, Dennis Durham, Doug Clarke etc- for a couple of years in the mid-50's. Defender, maybe a fullback or half-back.

Forgot to mention it in my reply about Dennis Durham being at Brid Town matches watching them when Bob Dennison played that he ran a boys club for years in Brid which was well known for the boxers it turned out. Think he got an MBE for his contributions.Big bloke was Dennis, wouldn't have liked to have tangled with him.

Very sad about Chester Bennington but not surprised sadly. He came into my work and performed an acoustic set in front of 50 people only two months ago. He spoke openly about his depression and I don't think it helped that LP's new album got panned by the media.

Gutted about Linkin Park. Still one of my favourite bands, even if their material was starting to become a bit political.

Deborah Watling. Best known for playing Victoria Waterfield in the Troughton Dr Who era, died aged 69.

casto comparing it to young people dying from horrific illnesses
it's all just wrong and horrific, it is not a competiton.

I didn't compare it to young people dying from horrific illnesses. I was comparing the remark about it being no age which is applied so often, sometimes to people about 70 years of age.
Though I am not surprised at you missing the point.
