I'm sure I read somewhere that he suffered back problems for many years due to the jump he made onto the car roof in the programme. Hard to believe they didn't use a stunt double.
He lived here in the UK for many years. Decent singer.
RIP

Brazilian football legend Mario Zagallo, who won four World Cups as a player and coach, has died aged 92.

There's an argument that he was the most successful international footballer of all time. Two World Cup winning medals as a player, one as a manager and one as an assistant manager/coach. RIP.

Professor Sir Roy Calne, a pioneering surgeon that led the first liver transplant operation in Europe in 1968, has died at the age of 93.

He led an operation on a 46-year-old woman with liver cancer at Addenbrooke Hospital in Cambridge in May 1968. The procedure faced opposition from others in the medical profession at the time.

Sir Roy's efforts paved the way for life-saving surgery that has since saved the lives of many in Britain and beyond.

Was just going to post that. Well worth remembrance, he saved the lives of so many that would otherwise have had their lives cut short.
