Sure I saw them at Spiders once but that might be a complete zapped memory fabrication. Either way they were a good band and Mike Peters a talented guy.

It seems they didn’t play, or turn up, they were a no show due to being invited on Top Of The Pops.

That sounds plausible. I’ve a vague memory which involves The Alarm and Spiders but it’s probably that I didn’t see them because they weren’t there. TBH the early 80s are a bit of a blur for a number of reasons.

RIP to the 2 motorbike riders today at British Superbike at Oulton Park.

A massive crash involving 11 riders, 2 of which have sadly lost their young lives.
