So what do people think of the proposal for Richard Scudamore to be given a £5 million pound golden goodbye payment ? Outrageous IMO !! He already gets a £1.6 million annual bonus !! ARE these people living in a realistic world ??
Absolute joke. He has overseen the nose dive of the national team and spiraling of transfers, wages and ticket cost. Greedy sod has made his millions. If we can find money for him we can find money for grass roots football.
Absolutely disgusting..I heard all the clubs agreed yesterday but today I'm hearing some have declined...I hope Spurs have...ill be fuming if Levy has got money to donate to a filthy rich basterd whos already on a 2.9 mill contract a year. It's one thing when a company gives someone a financial gift..it's another when someone else is being told to pay for it..**** off.
He has banked £27 million in his tenure !! Winder if he's making a quick dash for the Persimmon CEO job ??
Farcical but no less than you'd expect these days. A bloke who's pocketted probably £15m-£20m during his tenure to get a final 'goodbye' £5m bonus? **** off, just **** off.
Utter ****ing joke, yet people still think that the PL is the be all and end all. I hope Saints told them to **** off but hold little hope. I'd rather give the **** syphilis.
He’s earned it to be fair for everything he’s done, I personally think all fans should chuck a tenner each in as well.
Disgraceful! Understand that he's made the clubs ****loads of money increasing TV revenue BUT thats whats he's been paid so well over the years to do? Has made more already than what the 95% of fans will ever make in a life time, money should be put towards grassroots football instead.
Mate ... the Prem and everything that goes with it is light years from "the realistic world" ... I am not in favour of it myself I have to say - he has coined in enough - but many CFOs in industry do a lot better for just being there - Scudamore has undoubtedly done a good job in maximising revenue streams for the Prem etc - What really gets my goat is when millionaire CFO's get a mega bonus for "turning the business around" or increasing profits when it is fairly obvious that this has come about largely as a result of "headcount cuts" to the workforce in that business ... now that really is immoral
