Having read into this more and had a quick google it appears that you could pay for 10 3G pitches with 250k, but clubs would rather donate it to a multi-millionaire? Also, why an even quarter of a million each, shouldn't it be different amounts based on placing, as that's what he believes in right? Shambles.

Just summed up modern Britain really. No money for schools, hospitals, police, no help for thousands of people struggling to get by; ****loads more dosh for some rich **** already drowning in money.

Unbelievable 16 out of 20 Premier league teams still refusing to pay their staff the reccomended ‘living wage’ (around 1 pound an hour more than minimum pay) yet they can all find an extra £250,000 EACH as thankyou gift for a man who earns 2.5 million pounds a year.
