Some interesting teams not going through to the super8 though.
Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand all heading home.

Really poor performance.
Proper mixed tournament. Got to the semi final
But they beat Oman Namibia & USA comfortably. As well as WI.
But then lost to South Africa australia and India and we’re very mixed against Scotland.
Much like the football team, when we came up against a decent team we struggled.

In the end England are just no longer very good so getting the the semi is ok.
Butter as captain is deeply unconvincing and honestly there's a mix of bowling issues and matting issues to solve.
You have to have the batting to score the runs and there's too many gaps there but the bowling has dropped.massively over time and it runs right through all forms.

Well yes, and he can't overtake Warne any more, but as @InFrancroatiaWeTrust says, there's still four more wickets and the big goodbye will be today.
