Is looking more and more likely. Wtf did pardew say at half time? Were one goal up, now you can forget how to play football and **** the whole game up.

There are no leaders on the pitch. None.

I'm worried now as confidence has clearly gone. Even Cisse can't hit the target from 6 yards.

I hope both subs were made due to fitness, but why Perch came on for Marveaux i will never know. Why he would want to start defending when we were playing so well? We are in big trouble now.

I'm sorry to say but we are one of the worst 3 teams in this league. Perhaps not on paper with some of the players we have in our squad but in terms of our tactics, the way we play, the motivation of the players, commitment and attitude of senior staff such as Pardew and the board.

Relegation is looking a certainty. We have no clear game plan whenever we play. For large periods of most games we have played this season we seem incapable of stringing more than 3 passes together. The players have no fight. Far too many times this season we have gone ahead only to then stop playing for no reason at all.

Starting to think the players have given up on Pardew.

We were so good until we scored. Why stop playing??? Reading scored 3 last game and we can't defend. Why sit on 1-0? Then take off our only creative outlets?!

if you dont pick up the points against Reading it will be tough, much tougher fixtures to come
Pardew deserves to go but his contract saves him

We have been awful since he signed the ridiculous 8 year contract. I know if Ba or Remy had been in the team today we'd have been 3 or 4 up at half time but they weren't and that's a massive failing by everyone concerned that we only have 2 "Strikers" at the club right now, neither of which can hit an angled shot either side of the goalkeeper. Not just angry for the way we lost another game - there is something so terribly wrong behind the scenes. We need an inspirational manager. Not even bothered about a great tactician - an inspirational manager was what was needed today. The players are haunted shadows of who they used to be. No confidence. We will end up signing another Frank Pingel and go down if Ashley doesn't do something now.

If Pardew stays to the end of the season then that will prove that all ashley wants is a fire sale of all the young players with a market value at the end of the season and to drop the club into the hands of the highest bidder.

The biggest problem is that we can't defend. Those two Reading goals were the result of shockingly bad defending. Reading didn't go on like that.

Pardew's players are just short of fight. They won't battle.

We are going down end off sack Pardew now get DeMatteo in if he will take on a Championship side and prepare for nxt season ie who will stay who wants to leave etc etc
