You'll stay up comfortably. Lots of winnable games in your run in. You only need two more wins. One against Villa would be nice.
Not too concerned I must admit. We now have four home games and all are potentially winable and possibly only Villa with anything to play for.
I wouldn't be concerned if we approached a game trying to win, but I can't actually remember the last time we done that and for that reason we just like Sunderland are in the mire!
We are lacking something, maybe it's the tactics. Will 2 up front help vs the swans? At least we are not in the bottom 3 but one win in 14 is very worrying
We lose next week we could potentially be going to Arsenal only 1 point above the relegation zone, and so its likely we would go in to our home game against reading in the bottom 3. I would say next weeks game could very well be season defining for us, a win is a must! Nothing else is good enough now.
Well no, not exactly. Sunderland play at Chelsea away. They could win that, but I wouldn't put money on it. Neither would I on Wigan beating QPR, where a draw would be more likely, if not a QPR win. Villa play away at Stoke, not an easy ask, IMO. A win against Swansea would be helpful, but is not yet a must. Reading may well prove to be a must, as might Villa, but the odds are still on our side with 4 homes and 3 away matches to come. Probability not possibility!
Home games to Swansea, Reading, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa. If we don't get six points from that, we deserve to go down. If City can repeat 2005 when they won their last four homes...
There are nine sides in it still,up to an including Stoke.I can't see how Sunderland have improved things by sacking O Neill. Two huge games coming up QPRvWigan and the Tyne Wear derby.I can see our home game with Villa gaihng significance for one or both of us.
Stoke City away could be a key game for us. They've also got important games against Aston Villa, QPR, Sunderland and Southampton on the last day. Their run-in is quite favourable like ours but also can't score. Maybe 37 points won't be enough this season. Villa and Wigan, 30 points from 30 games. Currently, Southampton and Wigan have the momentum.
That's some multi-tasking! So she can decorate, watch football and shout all at the same time You're a lucky boy!
Not even H? Saw loads of young Canaries at the Service Station on the Motorway yesterday, all seemed to be wearing brand new tops. Has the Club Shop been having a sale?
No, we just wash our clothes before wearing them ps - I'd do ANYTHING for H, if you don't believe, just ask her!
Next Saturday is yet another big one. If we beat Swansea, Stoke beat Villa, and Sunderland lose at Chelsea, there will be that gap between Stoke/us and the clubs in real poo. If Villa beat Stoke and we fail against Swansea, the whole thing squeezes up even tighter. Ugh!
I think we'll beat Swansea. Their season has petered out, cup final win and safety assured weeks ago.
Still Fulham v QPR to come tonight. That won't effect things at the bottom much but a result for Rangers would set them up nicely for their home match with Wigan next week.Reading have shortened to 1/19 after their Emirates defeat.Sunderland are the big movers,in from 7/2 to 2/1.Only Villa are between them and the bottom two in the odds at 6/4.Wigan are now 9/4.We have shortened but still 14/1 against,Newcastle 18/1 and Stoke put in their first appearance of the season at 20/1.Huge movers are Southampton.Their result against Chelsea had seen them move out to 28/1!
