Weird game because the whole team was so good early on and then pretty poor for a long spell, at least in terms of keeping the ball. We defended reasonably well under pressure overall.
I thought Eaves looked good in the first 5 minutes or so but struggled to get into the game thereafter. Is that unfair? Most people seen to think he did well but I just thought he was always a long way away from the ball, save for those first few minutes.
I like Stewart but I thought he lost as many tackles as he won so can't vote for him. You can see he's really keen to win it back but sometimes he's too keen, desperate perhaps. He commits and gets beaten. I think with time and experience he'll learn when to stand people up and when to dive in.

FWIW, thought Eaves looked excellent first half, then faded very badly second half (match fitness or ?). I unfairly (as I admitted at the time) posted that I thought he looked awful in his first cameo.
Thought Stewart was excellent. His interceptions and tackling were generally superb throughout.
Opinions eh.

Eaves was ok but more often than not he had the touch of a rapist - hopefully he will come good because he looks a big strong lad and should cause a few problems - definitely game of two halves, on another day Reading could have nicked the points hitting the posts twice - Kingsley and Burke too much hoof and miskicks, they're better than that -
