I know loads think i dont back the new top table, but i do.
The answers given to the RWA on the handling the Scum ticket fiasco are a total fiasco.
No mention of our capitulation of the black cat bar and the seating that goes with it.
There seems to be little or no mention of how we as a club have capitulated on safety for our fans.
If they think their fans will board their buses after the match and just leave, they need to re-think it.
The Saudi power machine has had a laugh at our expense.
SHOCKING IMHO.

FFS, it's just a football match and no one has to go if they can't take their smelling salts in <doh>

I'll be there, on the train from Newcastle, and no one will be having a laugh at my expense.

Anyone who travelled with Sunderland in the 70's and 80's will be wondering when everything became so limp wristed.

The club have pulled their pants down and took it dry over this mind

i thought you would come out with that, it's not about me or the chaps, its about giving in to the Saudis, repainting the BCB ??/ Whats that about??
Our fans having it shoved in our faces is my issue, it could and should have been handled better than this, and your pal Steve Neil did have input in the set out and internal handling of his fans.

Say "capitulated" more

:emoticon-0140-rofl:

It's been handled very badly and follows a fairly constant line of off the field mess.

Someone at the club needs to drag the off the field stuff up to speed quickly imo
How has it been handled badly? Please don't say the club should have consulted the fans because we'd still be sat here in 2025 debating the whys and wherefores

A statement should have been released at the same time as the announcement. Rather than wait for RAWA to contact them.

They could have dealt with the away fan issue last year when it first reared it head

I think we have looked week, if we have a replay, be interesting to see what they give up for us.
For the last time I do like our owners and I do appreciate how they have turned things round

Agreed. It's just the cry babies who want to slag the club despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary

Sad but true, never miss a chance ...

... I remember a time when we'd defend the club automatically.

It's now the complete opposite, people are primed and ready to attack.

Pathetic.

From what I have read or heard the Mags have the whole north end both tiers and the Back Cats bar. We are taking SAFC memorabilia down too.
First of all I'm surprised the police allowed such a large allocation but I would suggest they then should have been given the north upper and West upper. They would have been out of sight to the TV cameras and the season ticket holders in NS wouldn't have been pissed off.

It's not pathetic to discuss and encourage the club to raise its game off the field and for fans not to accept piss poor standards off the field.

Every penny made off the field helps the on the field important bit massively.

Do you really believe the club missed that somehow ...

... I can't remember a time when we were on TV as much, even in the PL.

The club has raised its game more than some people are prepared to admit.

TV is one thing, merchandise, ease of access to tickets, facilities in the ground, fan engagement, sponsor engagement all add vital funds and need improving
