I’ll answer it - he played in those games as centre back not left back.

The youth players are better. Dummett should be nowhere near the squad no matter what.

I’ve never rated Dummett as a left back. As a centre back he’s a good 4th choice

Dummett has played far more at LB and you have no “evidence “ that any youth left backs are “far better”

He’s just not as bad as some say, has always been a LB/CB did well earlier in the season and anyone could have made that blunder. I just don’t see how that makes it a blunder by Howe. Would agree it’s time for him to move on though as much for him to actually play as for us.
