So now we’re a small club according to “we’re pushing for consistent top 6 finishes” Ralph. What a change of tune within a year.
Got to say, I think it's a disappointing interview.
And, before someone suggests it, not because he's not telling us/me what we/I want to hear.

Yes this was the biggest take away from the interview for me as well. Seems like there is a change of tact from the board from "we want to be regular European contenders" to "any time we finish in single figures in the league is a great achievement". Maybe the VVD thing has just shown them the reality of football? Or maybe the new owners have a different outlook and don't want to lead the fans on?
Very strange interview, looks like we've gone from ambitious Southampton, to just a small club that has over-achieved the last few years.
Totally agree DTLW. Sounds like reality has hit Ralph straight between the eyes. Thought Adam was quote good with his questions of which RK swerved like an MP.
He's very correct to say that it's not one individual's fault (MP's). Indeed, I and many others have never just blamed MP. You and, in particular, Les are also very much at fault, Ralph!
Can we also change the title - who is Ralph Kueger?! Maybe he goes after younger partners... 
Will attract some good players with our chairman telling them that we are a small club who will be happy to get to “single digits”, in the league. REALLY
Well that reminded me more of Rupert Lowe than the guy who promised us regular European football. How very depressing.

Can’t have been a very good plan!
All he's doing is being open and transparent, something a lot of people have wanted him to be. We are a small club in this league, along with most other clubs, fighting for mid table most seasons and maybe the odd cup run. Nothing shocking about what he's saying.
