As much as I like digging you lot about Keegan at least he had the self awareness to see he wasn't up to the England job and the honour and honesty to quit. McLaren has never been up to the job.

He could have walked, at any point this week. If the stories were getting to him, he shoulda asked for assurances or quit, but no he stayed and looked like a mug, but a well paid mug because he will be getting his compo. He has no class and no integrity in my opinion.

I've got to be honest, if it was the difference between walking away with nothing or getting a lump sum that would set me up for a long time to come (not that he'll be short of a bob or two) I would probably hold out for the payment.
Usually yes but, between just you and me, Penfold has driven Rafa to the edge in the discussions concentrating on new deco in the Head Coach Office that any little thing might make him say no!! And I don't want you to be that "little thing".
