I think it depends on the date of the reported take over, say for the sake of argument it was wrapped up in the next week or so, then having just won and with a month and a half until the transfer window, he'd sensibly get a few games to see what happens, the closer and closer it gets to the transfer window opening, the more at risk his position becomes

He can't be any more at risk of his position!

You could be right, but I'm not sure that is the right thing to do. I'm as critical of McCann inability to change things during games as anyone, but buying a new club, you need some time to adjust to how things work, and maybe to stick with him until you get a feel for the place.

Based on results, if I was the prospective new owner, getting Terry out pronto would be high on my to do list!

As said several times, and by others, he (McCann!) is the wrong man for us.
He either fully believes in the '4 3 3 philosophy' (for want of a better phrase) or if doesn't really believe in it then he hasn't had the balls to call out Ehab and Darnborough on it (or else is an incredible liar).
So whichever it is, he isn't the manager / coach that this club and it's players need.

An afterthought - had we not finally managed to score and win on Saturday, would anyone even be asking this question?! Him and Byrne have to go.

If the new owner is looking to appoint a new DOF as rumoured, then for me that means that Darnborough is potentially for the chop

I was with you until the last line
Farke did a great job in a budget and was treat shabbily by Norwich

I’d have him here in a shot

Same thing though isn't it? Great job in the same way as McCann here, but unsuited to the subsequent job of keeping them up in the higher level.

good, he's useless as well. Get rid of the lot of them & bring some new faces in that actually know what they are doing!!!

Simple answer.

Get rid of him and his useless entourage.

New management team and get this club back where we belong.

I'm not saying we're Premier League regulars but a spell of top 6 in the Championship and a chance of promotion again is where we should be.

How long would he have lasted at a club like Watford?

Not at all
First time they went up two years ago the club deliberately didn’t spend so he had no chance at all. And seriously Norwich in the pl! They’re always going to be in a relegation scrap.
spent a little this year but hardly anything compared to the others

As some have said on here, Grant might of been told by the current owners to play 433 as it is the Hull City way?. When the new owner takes over, how would you feel if he actually kept Grant for a while to prove himself and let him do what he wants with the team and judge him after a few games?
If he has been playing 4-3-3 just because he’s been told to…then he should leave whether there’s a new owner or not

Its the open, naive style I have a problem with. Plenty of sides get a tune out of 433/4231 but FFS! The way McCann plays it then if we can't score 2 goals most games then were never going to win enough to stay up.

4-3-3 won us the title last season....

Better quality players, playing 4-3-3 win us more matches.

I'm not convinced GM is ****, because **** Managers don't win leagues....

I’ve never warmed to Grant. He got us out of league 1, which is commendable, but he is showing his limitations at Championship level.

It needs new impetus before it is allowed to stagnate any further.

last season our best selection up front were the three strikers who bagged double figures with the season's best player honeyman as main supply line. due to injuries, etc, we've had that twice this season. a one-goal defeat to one of the best three teams in the division and a win against a team that too often gets the better of us.

To be honest mine wasn’t really a comment about the formation, it was just the notion that any manager would play one way because the owner that says they don’t know anything about football told them to is bizarre.

I can’t actually believe it’s the case but no manager should do that
