Baring in mind how the Royal family do not discuss these things, and how the news interrupted Liz Truss's blockbuster speech.

I think she is very ill.

What ever your views on the monarchy. She has been a constant in our lives...it is going to be very sad and very strange.

She has been head of state for over 70 years...and done it very well, and moved well with the times. It will be sad

Huw Edwards and now Clive Myrie, dressed in black with black ties. I’m guessing it’s just a matter of time until the bad news is announced.
God bless The Queen.
Even the sign person who lives on the bottom rh side of the BBC news channel...is all in black. Sad

The country will miss her, both monarchists and those who want to abolish the monarchy, and I confess to being the latter of the two. Nonetheless she has been there all my life and a great part of history is passing away with her. She has done a fantastic job. RIP <rose> This unites all British of all political persuasions.
