More importantly in the short term we need 3 points and a decent performance

The last 2 league games have been pretty dire - Tuesday in particular given the level of the opposition

Wrexham's squad is, in the round, a very average Championship side
 
Very odd the new kid up front isn’t on the bench at least.

Odd to pick those three in midfield together

Odd to not give Edwards a game. Surely he comes on for Cook sooner rather than later

Odd to pick Kone again rather than give a Kolli a go after that shambles Tuesday

Odd to stick with ****ing Dembele

Totally get the sentiment for wanting Edwards in but three clean sheets and you don’t deserve dropping or need shaking up. Plenty of time for Ronnie to get his start.
Strange choice in Vale, presumably behind Kone, with both Smyth and Dembele in. Be an interesting watch.
Looks like Wrexham have a busy midfield so hope we have some way to be strong in there.

With the defence, I think it's a case of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.'

However, after a little while longer of Edwards getting into the swing of things in training with his new manager, I'd have him replace Cook. Better to develop a young player than keep playing one who's about to retire.

Id have been very surprised if the new player started, even if fully fit. He's very young still.

Vale, I can see the sense... I'm guessing Dembele will be like no.10 or second striker.
 
Strangely quick getting in and quiet outside the lower loft. Terrible traffic getting here and lots of trains not running so wonder if it’ll be full at KO
