Exactly how I saw it Bob, Mbengue should've been subbed, he was flying in to tackles all game and was destined for a red

How Kabore never got booked after trying to personally assault Smyth at every opportunity is another question...
I know what you mean Steels but Mbengue has had a number of yellows and completed games - this time he was just completely stupid. He has to own his ridiculous behaviour.

Why the rest of the team has go into meltdown because he is not on the pitch is beyond me - they lost the game just when a bit of time management (****housery) was all that was required.

Could not believe it. We looked reasonably calm until the sending off. Then we just panicked. I could see they were up for it when they rushed to collect the ball after the equaliser. I would have accepted a draw. But losing was a killer blow. Credit them with shooting from outside the box. Something we don't really do.

No matter when he gets a yellow in a game, he should be hooked straight away.
We had used our 3 windows of substitution.
Maybe Stephan should have subbed him when he subbed Smyth.

Mbengue had already got his 10th card by then and was due to miss 2 games.

Adamson should have come on then.

My big problem after the sending off..did Bennie go to RB?

Field should have gone in front of him then . It was obvious Wrexham were going to attack down there

Still in shock, there’s losing and there’s losing like that. Deserved a draw at least but given our injury list the lads put in a far better performance than recently - we move on..

He got booked just before half time Beth and was then trying to turn it into a red with verbals until Kone pushed him away. Julian should not have sent him out for the 2nd half

Yes...at the latest we should have subbed him when we subbed Smyth who was also on a yellow.

Stephan is at fault there.

Edwards on...Dunne to rb

But even after it happened...was Bennie at RB ..when we had Field on the pitch.
Field should have been in back 4 ...not Bennie

Its a lottery for poor old Bennie as to where Julian plays him

Actually disagree he should have been taken off prior. Was having an ok game and you trust your players in that situation when there was a greater need for other subs. That trust has not been repaid by probably the stupidest thing a QPR player has done since Diakite or that clown Cisse were getting reds for fun. Wrexham player is going nowhere at all in the 89th minute and he does that. Needs putting down. Absolute clown. Ooooh he’s in your head. **** off.

Saying that, there’s four minutes to kill. Maybe between Dunne, Cook, Field and Hayden there’s someone who can organise the team, sit down for 10 seconds to delay it, calm everyone down rather than them all just ****ting themselves and standing in random positions somewhere between the ball and goal. Then Walsh has a nightmare for the second which sadly can happen to any keeper after he’d had a very competent game to that point. So your leaders organise, kill it, pass it back and boot it up and see out the last minute for a reasonable point. Or just all **** yourselves again and let the bloke have a pop which could go anywhere. No bother it’s down the middle of the goal. Oh except Walsh has somehow managed to turn into Ronnie Corbett and got nowhere near it. Geniuses all over the pitch.

However, Wrexham were fitter than we were, a common issue. Not better, not even equally good but again several players were dead by the time we scored the second. Who is training these guys? Half the squad has long term injuries and half the other half can’t play 90 minutes.

When l was a kid, waking up to Disney on tv would make me happy.
Nowadays, waking up to see Disney winning make me grumpy……
I hate looney tunes!

Unpopular opinion but I still like Wrexham as opposition clubs go and don’t get the hate towards them compared to a club like Birmingham who are like the local chav drug dealer winning the lottery.

Says a lot about the league that they are where they are but credit to Parkinson he’s built a team that looked miles off it in the away game and relegation contenders and they’ve gelled quickly. Clung in there first half despite being abysmal with the ball then overran us second half because we’re so pathetically unfit 29 games into the season.

News Update-

Ladies & gentlemen, we are now at the top and alone on 40 points, of the Mid Table Competition.

You must log in or register to see images

After seeing the movie "Hamnet" (very good), then enjoying a hard 40 lap x 25m swim it was so very disappointing, but perhaps not surprising, because we are QPR with St. Jude in our ranks, that we threw away a potential 2-1 win in such an awful manner with a red card on 90 (why was he not subbed on a yellow?), then goals conceded on 90+3 and 90+4
We should have been on 43 points and knocking on the playoffs door.

I've been home for an hour and a half, had some dinner and a glass of wine and I'm still pissed off. I really couldn't see that result coming. We should of been out of sight by halftime. They didn't even muster a shot on goal let alone on target. On reflection, Mbengue was the catalyst. If he didn't make that unnecessary challenge that result wouldn't of happened.

Ten players in the box and nobody thought being within five yards of Josh Windass was a good idea. Still flappy from Walsh but seeing it back now that was some defending. Not even clear who his man was. He just isn’t marked at all.

I have to blame someone otherwise I'm going to explode...
1. Mbengue: yep, it has to be our resident accident waiting to happen but WTF was our manager thinking leaving him on with our expensive new defender sitting on the bench.
2. Walsh: had a complete melt down for the final minutes.
3. Field: all I know is that once he came on we got progressively deeper and deeper. Maybe coincidence but he is all negative energy.
Totally unfair to all these players and I don't even feel any better...

So we are hopeless against ten men
And hopeless as ten men
We should try nine. Just about beat Chelsea though there was that phenomenal 0-0 at Kenilworth Road where we were fortunate to get a draw. Drew with Crewe with nine to send them up when we needed a win to keep promotion alive. Maybe eight we’d be ok. Have we ever played against eight?
